Top-5 movies of the week - 21.10 - 27.10

Hi, everyone! I hope you don't forget to watch good movie these rainy days. There are three directorial debuts, which you might like. Maybe one of their filmmakers will become world famous in the next few years. We'll see.

1."Retreat"
Nice couple lives in a picturesque and peaceful place. All seams fine, until one young man runs into their cottage and tells them there is a dangerous virus in the city, so they should be prepared. They've already turned a comfortable house into some sort of bunker when young couple understands that this danger isn't outside. Its trailer reminded me "28 Days Later", but there is a huge difference. You don't know whether out there is an epidemic or that guy is simply insane.
Directed by Carl Tibbetts, it's his debut.
Starring Cillian Murphy, Thandie Newton, Jamie Bell.
Trailer.

2."Oranges And Sunshine"
Based on a true story, this movie tells us about Margaret Humphreys, a social worker from Nottingham, who tries to fix the horrible government's mistake. Many children were forced to move from the United Kingdom to Australia. Now they want to find their relatives, to reunite with families and to discover who they really are. But there is a system, which doesn't like to admit its wrong and inhuman actions and just one woman, who fights it. I should say it is very inspiring story.
Directed by Jim Loach, it's his debut.
Starring Emily Watson and Hugo Weaving with David Wenham.
Trailer.

3."Martha Marcy May Marlene"
Martha, a young woman, calls her sister to pick her up in the middle of nowhere. After returning to their home, she experiences great difficulties to live a normal life. Painful memories and increasing paranoia don't give her a chance to start over. She might have done some horrible things in the past, which now are haunting her. This psychological drama looks to be very tense with some unexpected plot twists.
Directed by T. Sean Durkin, it's his debut.
Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Hugh Dancy.
Trailer.

4."Paranormal Activity 3"
It's the third movie and people aren't still tired of being scared of the same story. I'm not a big fan of horrors, so I haven't even watched its trailer. The one thing you should know: it's prequel, which has to show us how this chilling story begins.
Directed by Henry Joost , Ariel Schulman.
Starring Katie Featherston.
Trailer.

5."The Three Musketeers"
Don't expect from it something huge and impressive. It looks like this new story based on Alexandre Dumas' legendary novel is a disaster of this season. With such strong cast, impressive fights, gorgeous costumes and special effects, this movie hasn't become critics' favorite. Plus you have to over pay, because there is 3D. "The Three Musketeers" is very expensive pop flick and I won't compare it to Guy Ritchie's great "Sherlock Holmes" anymore.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson ("Resident Evil", 2002).
Starring Logan Lerman, Luke Evans, Ray Stevenson, Matthew Macfadyen, Milla Jovovich, Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz.
Trailer.
