Top-5 movies of the week - 19.08 - 25.08

Don't know which movie to watch this week? Here are five interesting ones - you might like at least one of them.

1."Conan the Barbarian"
The most legendary Barbarian of all time is back this summer. Having thrived and evolved for eight consecutive decades in the public imagination - in prose and graphics, on the big screen and small, in games and properties of all kinds - Conan's exploits in the Hyborian Age now come alive like never before in a colossal 3D action-adventure film. Deftly adapted from the original works of Robert E. Howard and faithful to the mythology and psychology of his iconic character, "Conan the Barbarian" stars Jason Momoa (Conan), Rachel Nichols (Tamara), Stephen Lang (Khalar Singh, Khalar Zym), Rose McGowan (Marique), Said Taghmaoui and Ron Perlman (Corin). Directed by Marcus Nispel. (Official movie site) I would definitely see it, if my favorite cinema show it in 2D.

In fact, he's so cool he's even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there's something not quite right— yet no one, including Charley's mom (Toni Collette), seems to notice! After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charley comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he's telling the truth, Charley has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic. 4."The Last Circus" (2010)
1937, Spain is in the midst of the brutal Spanish Civil War. A "Happy" circus clown is interrupted mid-performance and forcibly recruited by a militia. Still in his costume, he is handed a machete and led into battle against National soldiers, where he single handedly massacres an entire platoon. This absurd and disturbing scenario raises the curtain on a twisted tale of love, revenge, and psychopathic clowns that could only spring from the mind of filmmaker Álex de la Iglesia.
