"The Avengers" (2012) - International banners

New international banners show us nothing new. 8 main characters (7 goodies and 1 villain) are still wearing their famous costumes and standing in those familiar poses.

Directed and written by Joss Whedon.

Beautiful stills from "The Great Gatsby"

Two official stills from "The Great Gatsby" have been revealed. I can say that Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire look great in these retro costumes. But the most I like DiCaprio's hairdo on the first picture. Oh, he is going to be a fabulous Jay Gatsby!

"MEN IN BLACK 3" - Official Trailer

"What other secrets are there?"

Legendary agents J and K are back! Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are wearing their black suits again! I'm glad that Barry Sonnenfeld hasn't left this project, because his presence promises us an unforgettable intergalactic adventure.

Agent J travels back in time to save K and the universe. So this story is going to be tense, eventful and also funny (did you see that green graffiti which can speak and the moment when J portrays K's smile?). Josh Brolin portrays young agent K and Emma Thompson's character tells us some sad news.

"MEN IN BLACK 3" will be out in May 2012. Mark your calendar!

Meet all main characters:

Will Smith as Agent J

Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K

Emma Thompson as Agent Oh

Josh Brolin as young Agent K

I am very exited about this film! Are you? Leave a comment!

AFI Awards 2011

The American film institute announced the list of best films and TV series of this year.

Have you seen them all? I haven't. Some of them are very overrated (I wasn't impressed by Bennett Miller's "Moneyball" at all). But I hope that some are going to be great (Spielberg's "War Horse" and Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo").

Top-10 films of 2011:

"BRIDESMAIDS" ("Девичник в Вегасе")
"THE DESCENDANTS" ("Потомки")
"THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO" ("Девушка с татуировкой дракона")
"THE HELP" ("Прислуга")
"HUGO" ("Хранитель времени")
"J. EDGAR" ("Дж. Эдгар")
"MIDNIGHT IN PARIS" ("Полночь в Париже")
"MONEYBALL" ("Человек, который изменил всё")
"THE TREE OF LIFE" ("Древо жизни")
"WAR HORSE" ("Боевой конь")

"THE ARTIST" and the entire "HARRY POTTER" film series (!) got special awards.

Now we can think about which of these films are going to get a golden statuette in a few months.

If you are curious about which TV programs are called the best, you can view the list here.

"Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" (2012) - First trailer and stills

These optimistic animals are going crazy for the third time! Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria come to Monte Carlo, searching for penguins. I hope they haven't forgotten that New York is their home...

Eric Darnell is still the director of this story and the voices of the main characters aren't going to change. "Madagascar 3" is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2012.

And some crazy pictures of old and new characters. My favourite is the last one.

"The Dark Knight Rises" (2012) - Bane poster

"The Legend Ends?"

New poster for "The Dark Knight Rises" says that there is nothing good for Batman in this upcoming film. Christopher Nolan makes it very dark and this broken mask means that someone will kick Batman's ass. Whoops! And Tom Hardy's back looks scary. His Bane is going to be a big trouble. I hope Christian Bale's character won't run away from him screaming.

"Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" London premiere

I watched the premiere of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" online yesterday and I enjoyed it! It was small and cozy; all actors and Guy Ritchie came, smiled and were interviewed by Edith Bowman.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law seem to become good friends. Robert was in a great mood, he danced a little (to entertain us or to get warmer). But I have one question for Jude Law. I'm just curious is there any tradition which makes actors stop shaving after they made a big film? Every time some actor finished filming, he starts appearing with a huge beard. Weird.

The weather was cold, men were wearing suits, scarves and coats, but Noomi Rapace, who played the main female part in this film, was in a strapless gown. I hope she didn't become an ice sculpture. She talked about how she was preparing for her Gypsy role, planning even to live in a camp, but she hadn't enough time for this. Noomi Rapace enjoyed working with such talented men and now she considers herself as "one of the boys."

Jared Harris doesn't look like a villain at all and seems to be a very cheerful person. But I hope his Professor Moriarty is persuasive.

Stephen Fry called Guy Ritchie "an extraordinary filmmaker." He portrayed Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock's brother. Can't wait to see what his role in this story is.

"Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" (2011) - Funny clip

New clip from Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" makes me even more exited about its upcoming release.

I like how Jude Law says: "Oh, How I've Missed You Holmes!" Of course, Sherlock pretends he had plenty of things to do without his dearest companion, but we know he missed him too. And I missed them both.

There is one interesting scene, which lasts 1 or 2 seconds, where Dr. Watson didn't notice Holmes. Can you say where he is before you watch this clip? It shouldn't be difficult.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry and Noomi Rapace.

Release dates - December 16 (UK, USA), December 22 (Germany), December 23 (Ukraine)

And I'm going to watch London premiere online this evening, are you too?

Angelina Jolie for "Newsweek" (December 2011)

This new photo set of Angelina Jolie is gorgeous! I always like black-and-white pictures, but if it's pictures of Angelina, I like them even more. I'm a bit sad that I can't buy this "Newsweek" issue, where she discusses her upcoming film, but it inspired me to make my own wallpaper for my desktop.

Angelina was photographed by Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello. Visit their website to view more beautiful pictures.

Her directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey", is going to be shown in limited cinemas since December 23.
