"A THERAPY" (2012) - Short film
A new short film by Roman Polanski was presented at the 65th Cannes Film Festival today. "A Therapy" is just 3 minutes long, its plot is simple, but intriguing and hilarious. It is produced by Prada, so it kinda looks like an ad.
Helena Bonham Carter plays a very rich, by miserable woman, who visits a therapist to have someone to talk to. Ben Kingsley is that psychiatrist, but he doesn't really care about his gorgeous patient. This character has something else on his mind... Watch this video to discover what it is.

"FRANKENWEENIE" (2012) - First pictures
Do you like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride"? If yes, it's time to be very exited. Tim Burton is making a full-length remake of his old short film "Frankenweenie", made in 1984. It's a story about a very talented boy. His dog died, and this boy wants to bring him back. He makes it successfully, but all people around are freaked, though the dog still is a very nice and friendly pet.
Over 200 puppets are made for this remake, which sounds very impressive. Winona Ryder will voice one of the characters, along with Martin Landau, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara. The score has to be created by Danny Elfman.
In the next year we will have a chance to watch this story on the big screen and in 3D.

Two strangest Angelina Jolie films
It's probably two strangest short films set in the 90s, but I like both of them. Their stories are similar. One guy married an eccentric woman and does everything she asks. Even if he doesn't like it or it can be dangerous for his health or his life.
These films weren't the first Angelina Jolie starred in and she was just 18 years old while filming it. But she looks so powerful, beautiful and proud, so that I'm not surprised that her character has such great influence on this poor guy.
Every time I watch them, I always have a feeling that I see something very personal and intimate.
