The 4th part about a maniac, who likes to make the whole city scared to the death, is captured 11 years after "Scream 3" (2000). As always a director is Wes Craven, creator of "Scream 1,2,3", "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Red Eye". As always one of the main parts are playing Courteney Cox and David Arquette. And as always the plot is simple: "Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (played by Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
