Top-5 movies of the week - 04.11 - 10.11

1."The Rum Diary"
Johnny Depp, Puerto Rico, many empty bottles of rum and one dilemma - to write what is true or to write what one businessman has payed for.
Trailer.
Clips and TV spot.

2."Puss in Boots"
It's like Wolverine got his own film (and a sequel) after being one of the greatest X-men, this cat with Antonio Banderas' voice deserved his, after being a brave hero in "Shrek" series. This story took place before he met big green ogre and his annoying Donkey. Now his only friends are Humpty Dumpty, Kitty Softpaws (voice of Salma Hayek) and his ability to charm anyone with his big cute eyes, which will be very useful in this adventure.
Trailer.

3."Like Crazy"
A romantic story by director Drake Doremus. British girl falls in love with American boy. They had great time together, but her visa is shortly over. She has to go away, though they want to keep this relationship. It is hard to see each other on rare occasions and they consider dating other people when they are apart. This film got the Grand Jury Prize at the 27th Sundance Film Festival. And its trailer is very touching.

4."Killing Bono"
It is a rock'n'roll comedy about two Irish brothers struggling to forge their path through the 1980's music scene... whilst the meteoric rise to fame of their old school pals U2 only serves to cast them deeper into the shadows. (Official website)
Starring Ben Barnes, Robert Sheehan, Krysten Ritter, Peter Serafinowicz.
Trailer.

5."Tower Heist"
A criminal comedy, starring Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. They are going to take a revenge on the Wall Street snob, who disrespected his employees by not paying them. Insulted workers teamed up to get their money back, but they have no clue how to do it, that's why it looks more like a parody on "Ocean's Thirteen" (or "Ocean's Eleven"). I like its trailer, but mostly because of Matthew Broderick's sissy character. Directed by Brett Ratner, the filmmaker of the "Rush Hour" trilogy.
Trailer.
